Hi Jessie I'm not certain, bit I think Infinity Estates own jewelery shops and have recently expanded into Estate Agency. My personal choice would be to deal directly with the builder - ie Nicholas -or Hanel Homes also have a good reputation. If you want to have a chat I'm happy to send you my personal email....

One thing to be aware of. If you buy from an estate agent, you will be paying a commission. Technically, it's 1.5% for the buyer and the seller, but the usual practise is for the buyer to pay the lot. If you buy direct from a builder, then a, it should be cheaper and b, the commission should be buyer only.

Good luck with that then Jessie, hope you find something good - but beware what Edward said above is very true. Also you need to be satisfied that an after sales service is provided for cleaning, transfers and general upkeep otherwise I know from other owners unless you live there permenantly things get very difficult.

You are better buying a resale direct from owner no agents fee to pay all snags have been done.

Hi Jessie
I would like to comment on Captain Pugwashes' description of the company Oceanwide Properties. We bought a property through this company 3 years ago and can only commend on their service to myself and family and other friends who bought through this company only 6 months ago. They provided us with an excellent service when purchasing our property and have continued to-date to provide an excellent service in letting our property, nothing has been too much for them. I am very suprised at these comments.

We bought with Onur Estate in Fethiye and very pleased with the service. Ahmet the owner is now a good friend and looks after our property and helps us whenever we need it. Picture by the side of this post is our place in Fethiye.

Hi I'm new to this site and was interested to read the comments/advice.I have been looking at properties in Fethiye for a while now up to £50K.Have been talking to Armaya properties-they seem very helpful and now hard sell.Anyone had any experience of them? If I buy direct from the owner(as suggested)how do I find out who the owner is?Thanks would appreciate any advice!

Armaya seem good, a friend brought through them recently and said they were helpful and listened to what she was looking for rather than just ship her everywhere. I brought through Manzara Construction, the co with the big white building near the lights in Tasyaka. I found them to be good, their prices fair and the aftersales was good aswell. I now love my Calis villa but I think they have properties throughout Fethiye.

Hello, my name is Kadin and my husband is working with property's. All I can say is that you have to get good information before you buy a house overhere. Be sure that the TAPU is on your name before you build or buy a house. I think it is better to work with a builder because is lower than when you buy from a emlak or a real estate office. A good builder who has his name in Fethiye could be MANZARA or Halil. I don't know his lastname but me made several houses in Uzumlu also. Succes

Yes, I have been trying to get ours for the last 18 months and have been told yes you are at the top of the list each time and it will be 6 months every time. I have emailed Selva, their lawyer, again today (23 July 10) to find out whats going on. I suspect they are servicing all their NEW clients first, as we have had the property for 6 years!!!!
They say on their website it can take upto 6 months to get your Tapu. Oh if only!!!
What is your experience???
