Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Have looked on GoFethiye Forum page but nothing is listed.
We are booked to stay at this hotel in June 2006 by Sonar Reizen from Holland.
Your feedback would be most welcome.
Thanks!!

Not stayed in the hotel itself but i have birthed in the marina behind it and used the hotel pool. It's a nice place, one of the better. A little walk to town (10mins) but nice if you go through the marina (don't worry about the barriers just say you have a boat there.)
Good night life and an excellent Turkish bath are in town. They have a Tamplar castle ruin and an amphetheatre (or however you spell it).
Local Dolmus (small rattley bus) will take you to the likes of Gocek (sailing-rich germans and americans) or Olu Deniz (chips and egg). Fethiye is somewhere inbetween)

I can understand describing Gocek as "sailing - rich Germans and Americans", but how can you say "chips and egg" for Oludeniz? That is one of the most famous, most gorgeous beaches of the world you are talking about! happy :)

I agree with you about Olu Deniz - how anyone can describe it as 'egg and chips brigade' is beyond me. Unfortunately a very mis informed property program aired in the UK a few months ago and referred to Hisaronu and 'egg & chips' a reputation I feel is totally undeserved! People need to try Turkey and the Fethiye area themselves - everyone I know has fallen in love with it as we did. - the only people I know who don't like Turkey are those who have never been!

I used to work in Olu Deniz - definitely not 'egg and chips' resort - infact I never saw that on any Menu in the hotels. I wouldn't want to eat Britęsh food anyway when Turkish food is so yummy....mmm! Turkish breakfast is also far more healthy - no fried eggs!
ECE SARAY is a lovely 5 star hotel in its own Marina in Fethiye. You will be spoiled! The Maria has nice facilities - you could eat/sleep on the toilet floors - so clean and beautiful. You will have excellent views over Fethiye Bay. Also try their Spa and Turkish Bath suite - Kadir gives the best oil massage I ever had in Turkey. Thanks so much Kadir. C

This hotel is not necessarily what you'd expect. The location is absolutely fantastic looking out over the marina in Fethiye - however the hotel itself is very simple and clean. I don't mean simple as in minimalistic - i just mean simple.

Location was great (make sure you get a room facing out on to the Marina

Double room = two single beds pushed together (a pet hate of mine/ours)

Was slightly on the pricey side but you can get a good discount if you say you've seen the price cheaper elsewhere

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful

Breakfast on the roof terrace over looking the marina is worth it just for the view (although the food was not spectacular)

Didn't get to try the pool but it looked big

All in all a nice friendly, clean hotel (lacking any character inside but great views of the harbour).

We loved this place and chose it by a combination of coming across it and the Lonely Planet recommendation, which describes it as one of the best on the south coast. They’re not wrong. The location is perfect being right on the harbour and it was great to sit with a drink and watch the yachting fraternity go about their business. Rooms are large and comfortable with charming views over the bay and harbour. The pool is large and is also a good place to relax. The only meal we had was breakfast and this was OK but not great – they make you pay extra for orange juice! The hotel is also in the centre of town so convenient for restaurants and nightlife.

My partner & I stayed here in June, 2007. It was arranged by wwwhotelsinfethiyecom and we stayed there for 1 night before our one week chartered cruise from Fethiye to Bodrum.

Thanks to wwwhotelsinfethiyecom, we didn't have to wait for check-in. Everything was pre-arranged.

Locationwise, it was off to the left side of Fethiye, so it's away from all the traffic and bustle near the main streets.

We got the executive suite - hugh livingroom, hugh bedroom & hugh marbled bathroom with tub & shower separated. It's just like the Marriott I stayed in Beverly Hills.

The marina area was very nice, almost picturesque. Unfortunately we overslept and missed the breakfast...

In the afternoon, we directly boarded the Nikolas gullet (Neyzen Tour) from the marina with other friends and enjoyed our splendid 7 days private cruise heading to Bodrum. We highly recommend the cruise if you are thinking about it. It's definitely worth it!
