My husband and I are visiting Fethiye in mid October. Could you please advise me on the weather(I dont know what to pack) and things to do and see. I love seafood and have heard that there are a few really nice restaurants, any suggestions? |

this post has been edited 3 time(s) Hi - We visited Hisaronu the last week of October last year and the days were lovely - if a little short. We were sunbathing during the day but early mornings were chilly and the evenings you definately needed a jacket,long trousers and trainers. Fethiye is always a bit warmer than Hisaronu/Ovacik as the mountain air is cooler there. This site has some excellant ideas on sightseeing, but I'd recommend not missing Kaya, Saklikent and Olu Deniz of course. If you like sea food dont miss the fish market in Fethiye. You choose your fresh fish from the stall and take it to one of the restaurants to be cooked. For a small cost I think about 1YTR they cook it for you and serve it with salad and fresh bread. For starter dont miss the wonderful prawns - cooked in garlic butter!! |
