I have not been abroad in a few years and would like some advice, is it cheapest to buy cigarretes on the flight out, in the resort (fethiye) or at the airport on the way back (this is Dalaman and i've heard that they are expensive for food). Thankyou in advance for your reply. |

Hi - I'd avoid cigarettes in the resorts. Cheap, but a bit like the gucci handbags for a fiver (fake). The UK Airports are good value for ciggies as you're travelling to a non EU country. Some flights have limited brands of ciggies - others have none at all! Last year 200 ciggies at Dalaman were £15 and they'll sell you thousands - although the allowance is only 200 of course. Have a wonderful holiday in Turkey - where are you staying? |

Ps - Yes Dalaman is extortionate for food and drink. Take drinks and a snack with you incase you're delayed. Last year we were delayed in the middle of the night and I ordered 4 coffees - £16 !!! Its such a shame because Turkey is very good value, but peoples last memory as they leave is that they were ripped off ! Maybe with the opening of the new terminal it will be better. |

hi Val things have'nt changed, prices in the new terminal are even worse I think, 1 coffee 1 lager cost me £12. never again. but wouldn't let it stop me visiting Hisoranu, GREAT place |
