I stayed at Asena Village in September 2005 for a week. Rooms were a little basic but comfortable and clean. A haven for families and the staff were very friendly especially with the children. The pool was very crowded, as you would expect at this time of year and a little cold as I recall, but nicely refreshing in the extreme heat of September! The menu was ample, and the terrace was beautifully lit in the evenings around the pool. air conditioning was extra but well worth it. about 5 minutes walk from Hisaronu, which is thriving. Last there in 1997, the shops are busy and the staff a little irritating at times and very persuasive! Went on jeep safari which was fab, saw lots of countryside, and had great fun, highly recommended!! But make sure you take a hat and plenty of suncream. wouldn't hesitate to go back again! |

Where did you book from ? We have booked from Koral - UK Travel. My husband son and I went the year before last and found it to be fairly basic but very friendly. It was more suitable to couples as the pool is quiet small and it didn't really cater for children. being a smaller hotel, it was nice to get to know all the guests sitting around the pool. Lovely athmosphere and the dolmus bus stopped outside every 5 to 10 minutes, so nice and easy to get to the shops if too hot to walk! breakfast is served on the sun patio, which was lovely as it faces the sea,all the staff were like old friends by the time we left, a lovely peaceful holiday guaranteed.
