Appreciate its a bit west of Fethiye and I'm not sure whether its relevant to this forum, but can anyone recommend Dalyan. An old friend from OD has decided to move jobs from there to Dalyan, at a lovely hotel (judging by its website) called the Assiyrian. Any help out there?

Dalyan is a lovely place, tranquil and lots to see - there are not night clubs I know of but lazy dining under the trees by the river, and nice bars and hotels. They will feature music in the evenings - one traditional music bar. The nice Iztuzu beach not far by dolmus. You can take river trips to Kaunos tombs or the mud baths upriver or Koycegiz Lake. I dont know this hotel but it sounds classy. I know Kardak Tours are good if you need any excursions whilst there - ask for Ozey or Mustafa.
