We are preparing to move out to Fethiye to live as from Jan 07. My husband is retired & receiving a pension. We intend to bring our car over. We have looked on www
turing.org.tr/eng but can only find .. temp 6months blue card details.Can we import permenantly? if so ? and what is the cost ? etc

The simple answer is no.
Although there are ways and means which involve importing then exporting and reimporting the car and depositing the value of the car with the customs authorities.
My advise is to sell the car in the UK and buy one in Turkey. You'll find it a much simpler process.
Besides, it's much safer to drive on the right with a left-hand drive vehicle, especially when overtaking.
