can anyone give me an approx prices on general shopping items,fags,petrol etc.

Cigs are about £1.50 a packet and petrol much the same as here. Loaf of bread about 10p, bottle of wine about £3 & bottle of Efes 40p both from Supermarket . 2 course set menu meal £3 - £4 - average priced meal with wine about £10 per person.
