Absolutely no problem at all. All the road signs mean the same as here and as long as you are happy with left hand drive no prob! Fethiye is busy and you need to look out for people popping out of no-where on scooters and bikes but apart from that its fine - easier than a lot of European countries and definately easier than the US !

Hi Claire Diriving in Turkey is easy and the signs are the same as in U.K. but you can be forced by driving left side.

Anyone recommend a good place to hire a car from and would you hire at the airport?

Hi = it's bliss driving in Turkey. I've done the coast road from Antalya to Marmaris. If you can keep your eyes on the road & not on the jawdropping stunning scenery. Traffic much lighter out of towns - pure joy.
But....keep to the speed limits & be very alert & ENJOY : )
